GREENVILLE — Marion Allen, 40, of Cherry Court, Greenville, NC died Friday, January 2, 2009 in his home.
A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday at 3:15 pm in Celestial Memorial Gardens.
Marion was born in Plymouth, NC on June 14, 1968, but raised mostly in Washington, NC. He was the son of Mr. &Mrs. Clayton Marion and Barbara Lynn Allen of New Bern. He was preceded in death by his mother Judy Mobley Smith of Charlotte. He worked in the Bleach Plant at Weyerhaeuser in New Bern for nearly 20 years. He had been recently employed by ASMO in Greenville.
Marion is survived by: sons, Marion Joshua Allen, 20, and Brandon Lee Allen, 14, both of Washington; brothers, William Jeffery Gaskins, 48, of Vanceboro, NC, Clayton J. Allen, 45, of Homestead, FL, and Parrish “Ken” Allen, 42, of Hillsborough, NC.
The family will receive friends from 2 - 3 pm prior to the service on Sunday at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro.
