Mrs. Lillie Lee Coleman, 83, of 204 Marshall Ave., Williamston, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at Williamston House.
A funeral will be conducted today at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with pastor Travis Wood officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. (weather permitting) in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton, Va.
Mrs. Coleman was born in Pitt County on Feb. 14, 1925. She was the daughter of the late George and Addie Moore Lee. On April 30, 1943, she married Albert D. Coleman, who preceded her in death July 15, 1997. She was a homemaker. She was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara C. Harding of Morehead City and Jean C. Coleman and Lynn C. Stieffen, both of Hampton, Va.; one brother, Willie Lee of Williamston; two sisters, Myrtle Coburn and Mary Freeman, both of Yorktown, Va.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
