Mr. Donald B. Richardson, 65, of 1852 Bonnerton Road, Aurora, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Moore’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Diane Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Wantonga, Okla., at a later date.
Mr. Richardson was born May 26, 1943, to the late Leroy and Veola L. Richardson. He was a graduate of Wantonga High School. He was an Army veteran. He was married to Arizona Moore Richardson, who survives. He was a member of Moore’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Audrey Callum of Brooksville, Fla.; three sisters, Essie Stamps and Linda Brown, both of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Florence Myrick of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four brothers, Michael Richardson, Glenn Richardson and Richard Richardson, all of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Gary Richardson of Enid, Okla.; and two grandchildren.
The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at the home. A walk-in visitation will be conducted today from 1-6 p.m. at the chapel of Whitfield &Whitley Funeral Home, Washington.
