GARNER — Curt Beckham Davenport, 40, of 619 East Garner Road, beloved son of Wade and Sue Beckham Davenport of Garner, died Friday at Rex Hospital.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a brother, Taylor Davenport and his wife, Heather of Cary; 3 nephews, William Wade Davenport, Holden Cole Davenport and a new nephew, Austin Curt Davenport, born Thursday, January 29, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William A. and Helen A. Beckham and his paternal grandparents, Warren G. Davenport and Orpah C. McLaughlin.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, NC.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at 7760 White Oak Rd. Garner. They will also receive friends in Washington after the graveside service at the First United Methodist Church.
