Mrs. Kay Pierce Williams, 54, of Jamesville died Sunday, February 1, 2009 at her residence.
Born August 18, 1954 in Bertie County she is the daughter of Cecil M. Pierce and Louise Todd Pierce of Williamston who survive and was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Raegan Williams. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker and member of Plymouth Church of Christ. She was a member of Jamesville Garden Club and devoted many years as Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack 127, Blackbeard’s District.
Her family includes her parents, her husband, Paul R. Williams, Sr. of Jamesville, N.C.; sons, Paul R. Williams, Jr. and wife Amber and Christopher W. Williams and wife Rebecca of Jamesville, N.C.; sisters, Linda P. Williford and Pam P. Bryant of Windsor, N.C.; grandchildren, Pierce H. Williams and Caroline P. Williams.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Plymouth Church of Christ, Plymouth with Bob Moulden and Doug Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Plymouth Church of Christ and other times at the residence. Memorial donations may be made to The Kay Williams Cub Scout Memorial Scholarship, 3880 Brown Road, Jamesville, NC 27846. Arrangements are by Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth.
