Mr. Phil Dean Kerley, 66, of 3921 McWhorter St., Bethel, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Martin Memorial Gardens in Everetts with the Rev. Eddie Coltrain officiating.
Mr. Kerley was born in Simpson, Ill., on May 9, 1942. He was the son of the late Henry D. and Annie Caldwell Kerley. On July 28, 1962, he married Linda Kay Daigle Kerley, who survives. He worked as a manager at Pen Elastic until his retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly Murphy of Savannah, Tenn., and Melody Odom of Williamston; two brothers, Henry Kerley of Greenville and Nelson Kerley of Greensboro; two sisters, Barbara Bedwell of Cape May, N.J., and Anna Wyatt of Pittsburg, Pa.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Biggs Funeral Home, Williamston.
