Mrs. Furrell Wynne Browning of 674 Brooks Road, Bath, NC was called home on Saturday March 28, 2009 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Browning was retired from Bank of America after 35 years of service and was an active member of the Bath Christian Church. She loved her church, friends, family and boating.
Mrs. Browning was preceded in death by her son; William Terry Worthington, her father; Mottis L. Wynne, mother; Audrey Bailey Wynne and brother; Charles Wynne. She is survived by her husband; James Brooks Browning, daughter-in-law; Janine Owens, sister; Barbara Wynne Pollard and husband, Ralph Pollard, brother; Donnie Wynne, aunts; Peggy B. Griffin and Lina Bailey Wynne, nephews; Mitchell Pollard and Keith Wynne, nieces; Tyresia Pollard French, Katrina Pollard Peaden and Donnell Wynne McLawhorn.
The family received friends Monday March 30, 2009 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home of Washington. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday March 31, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Bath Christian Church, Bath, NC. Interment will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens of Washington, NC.
