Mrs. Leona Bennett Whichard, 90, of 119 Gatlin St., Williamston, died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Williamston Rehab Center. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home.
