Mrs. Annie Booth Jones, age 80, a resident of 1003 Cherry Creek Drive, Newport News, Va., and formerly of Acre Station, NC died on Saturday, April 19, 2009 at home.
A funeral service will be at 12 noon Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Northside High School. Officiated by Larelle Kelly of Newport News, Va. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Washington, NC.
Mrs. Jones was born January 12, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Henry Booth and Sarah Ann Booth. She was married to Herman Jones who preceded her in death. Her survivors include her adopted daughter Janice Faye Williams and husband Douglas Williams of Newport News, Va., grandchildren Shea and Eric, Great-grandchildren Alex, Hannah, Emoni, Brothers, Henry Booth Jr. (Thelma), Acre Station, NC, Samuel Booth (Arthenia), Terra Ceia, NC, Charlie Booth (Francine), Raleigh, NC, Sisters Rosa Minor (Kenneth), Edward, NC, Carrie Randolph, Daisy Bailey, Acre Station, NC, Catherine Everett of Portsmouth, Va., Revonda Fields (Clarence), of Chesapeake, Va., Sister in laws Margaret Jones of New York, Lois Jane Booth of Acre Station, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Two aunts Mrs. Rosa Bell Booth and Mrs. Beatrice Booth of Acre Station, NC.
The family will receive friends at the home located at Acre Station, NC.
