Rose Marie B. Deaver, 56, of 146 Newlands Rd., Columbia died Wednesday morning, April 22, 2009, at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City.
Born in Washington, D.C., June 9, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James and Isabelle Roughton Belangia. She was married to Donald Ray Deaver, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Columbia Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
Rose Marie had an unconditional love for her husband, children, grandchilden and her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bryan Funeral Service Columbia Chapel. Pastor Donald Sawyer will officiate. Burial will follow in Azalea Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are a daughter, Michelle Belangia of Columbia; son, Jimmy Deaver and Mary VanHorn of Columbia; grandchildren, Austin Deaver and Katie Furlough.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Belangia; sisters, Shirley Patrick, Margaret Spencer and Annette Belangia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions could be made to Kings Daughters’ Hospital.
