Mr. Henry Warren Wallace

Mr. Henry Warren Wallace, age 61, a resident of 306 Wharton Street, Rosedale Community, Washington, NC died Wednesday April 22, 2009 at his home.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday April 26, 2009 at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home in Washington officiated by Thelbert Leggett and Mike Chandler. Burial will follow in the Wallace Family Cemetery. Zack Gurkin, Wayne Harris, Billy Powell, Gary Cutler, Bernice Tyson, Larry Perry and Jim Tyrell, Jr., Danny Modlin and Steve Norris will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Wallace was born in Beaufort County on September 17, 1947, son of the late Delmar Wallace and Mae Dunlow Wallace. He was a graduate of Pantego High School. Mr. Wallace was employed for 42 years with National Spinning as an electrician. He was a member of Pinetown Church of Christ. He loved to garden, loved the river, boating, fishing and other water activities.
He is survived by his children: Regina Dean and her husband, Joseph of Greenville and Henry Franklin “Frank” Wallace of Greenville; his grandson: Koty Dean of Greenville; four sisters: Melisia Gainey and Lillian Wallace both of Goldsboro, Sylvia Wallace of Pantego and Pattie Jordan of Washington; his special friend: Jean Eaton of Chocowinity; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers: Delmar Wallace, Jr. and Rolphe Wallace.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. on Saturday at Paul Funeral Home and other times at the home located at 306 Wharton Street, Rosedale, Washington, NC.
