Sudie Bowen Brice, age 94, died Sunday, April 26, 2009 at Craven Regional Medical Center in New Bern.
She was born on December 5, 1914 in Blounts Creek, N.C, daughter of the late Linstread and Maggie Toler. She was a member of the White Hill Free Will Baptist Church in Small, N.C.
She is survived by two sons, Bill Bowen and wife, Bertie Bowen of New Bern, N.C. and Cameron Bowen and late wife, Jean of Virginia Beach, Va.; one sister, Lois Daugherty and husband, Fred of Chesapeake, Va.; six grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009 from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home, Washington, conducted by Bill Wingard and Dwight Williams. Burial will follow in the Sandy Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Small, N.C.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Paul Funeral Home, Washington.
