Ms. Shanna Marie Shaffer, 24, of 211 Shad Bend Drive, Washington, died Friday, May 1, 2009. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Pamlico Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Wares Chapel United Methodist Church, 2788 N. Market St. Ext., Washington. Arrangements are by Paul Funeral Home of Washington.
