Mr. Eli Russell Sirratt, 32, of 131 Goose Creek Drive, Washington, died Saturday, May 23, 2009, as the result of an automobile accident in South Dakota.
A funeral will be conducted at 6 p.m. Friday in Biggs Chapel in Williamston with the Revs. Eddie Coltrain and Curtis White officiating.
Mr. Sirratt was born in Houston, Texas, on July 29, 1976. He was the son of Fred and Carolyn Witzel Williams of Washington and the late James Russell Sirratt, who preceded him in death on Feb. 5, 1979. He worked as a truck driver with Conway Trucking. He attended Williamston High School and also attended Full Sail College in Orlando, Fla., where he earned an associate degree in Auto Recording.
Survivors include two brothers, Victor Sirratt of Chapel Hill and Ryan Williams of Asheville; one sister, Tracy Sadler of Chocowinity; his maternal grandparents, Victor and Carol Witzel of Washington and his paternal grandparents, Kenny and Pearl Teeter of Williamston.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. and immediately following the funeral service at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ARC of Martin County, the American Cancer Society or a charity of one’s choice.
