Mrs. Martha Jones Mewborn, 76, of Bethel, died Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bethel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Walker-Ayers Chapel in Bethel. Arrangements are by Walker-Ayers Chapel.
