Master Angelo Gabriel Melendez-Lozon, age 5, a resident of 2409 Christopher Lane, Rocky Mount and a former resident of Belhaven died Tuesday June 16, 2009 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside funeral will be held 3 p.m. Friday June 19, 2009 at Pamlico Beach Community Cemetery at Ryder Hill.
Angelo was born in Pitt County on September 29, 2003 son of Ernesto Melendez, Jr. and Sarah Victoria Lozon. He was a kindergarten student at Coker Wimberly Elementary School in Rocky Mount.
Surviving along with Angelo’s parents of Rocky Mount are a sister: Cassandra Victoria Melendez of the home; maternal grandparents: Randall Lozon and Teresa Lynn Lozon both of Belhaven; paternal grandparents: Ernesto Melendez, Sr. and Rosalva Melendez both of Rocky Mount and paternal great-grandmothers: Trinidad Linares and Gloria Gervagio both of Mexico.
The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday June 18, 2009 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and at other times at the home of Angelo’s grandparents Randall and Teresa Lozon located at 186 Loop Road, Belhaven, NC.
