Mr. Jackie Robert Eddley Parris, Jr. age 36, a resident of 1624 Highland Dr. Washington, died Sunday June 21, 2009 at the Beaufort County Medical Center.
Mr. Parris was born in Rock Hill, South Carolina on January 2, 1973 to Jackie R.E. Parris, Sr. and Deborah Jean Gordon. He worked as a convenience store clerk and a volunteer for the Rock Hill, South Carolina Police Department.
He was the only child of Deborah Jean Gordon of Washington and was a loving father of his daughter, Amanda Mae Parris of Rockwell, NC; both survive Jack. Other survivors include his father Jackie R. E. Parris, Sr. and step-mother Elisabeth Parris, three brothers, Randy Parris, Buster Parris, Martin Parris, one sister, Gina Tucker all of Wellborn, Florida and two aunts, Judy Blackmon and Alice Dorman both of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday June 23, 2009 at the home, 125 Holloman St. Washington, NC 27889.
