Mrs. Dorothy Schueck Harris, age 80, a resident of 118 Manuel Drive, Washington, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Beaufort County Medical Center in Washington.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, conducted by Pastor Travis Boyd.
Mrs. Harris was born in Washington on August 28, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Daniel Schueck and Etha Hudson Schueck. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker. She had been a member of Wanoca Presbyterian Church since 1950.
Mrs. Harris was married to Lockey Brown Harris, who preceded her in death, September 25, 2002.
Survivors include three daughters, Della Williamson of Tarboro, Debra Whitehouse of Mechanicsville, Va., Sheila MacDonald of Colorado Springs, Co; one son, Daniel Harris of Florida; one sister, Peggy Beavers of Vanceboro; six grandchildren, Melissa Williamson, Brandon Williamson both of Tarboro, Erica Whitehouse, Ashley Whitehouse both of Mechanicsville, Va, Joseph MacDonald, Jeremy MacDonald both of Colorado Springs, Co; and two great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon to 1:45 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Paul Funeral Home, Washington and other times at the home, 118 Manuel Drive, Washington.
