Mr. Robert Glenn Tooley

Mr. Robert Glenn Tooley, age 70, a resident of 7768 NC Hwy. 99 North, Pantego, died Thursday July 9, 2009.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday July 12, 2009 at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven, officiated by Lloyd Davis, minister. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery. Henry Tooley, III, Ray Tooley, Charles Tooley, Alvah Dixon, Gerald Dixon and Charlie Davis will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Tooley was born in Beaufort County on July 23, 1938, son of the late Henry Orman Tooley and Ruth O’Neal Tooley. He was a 1958 graduate of Pantego High School. Mr. Tooley was a farmer. He was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ; however, he attended many other churches in the area. He enjoyed playing the guitar and shared his love for music from the heart.
He is survived by his brothers: Henry O. Tooley, Jr. and his wife, Louise of Plymouth; Roland O. Tooley and his wife, Elaine of Scranton; his sister: Margaret Tooley Eborn and her husband, Larry of Washington and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Doris Dixon.
The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday at Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven.
