Mr. Justin Charles “Sonny” Sparacino, age 75, a resident of 117 Dowry Creek East, Belhaven, NC died Monday June 1, 2009 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday July 18, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven with Father Arturo Cabra officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Sparacino was born on October 12, 1933. He worked as a carpenter and commercial fisherman most of his life. On May 2, 1989, he married Nancy S. Carpenter Sparacino, who survives.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Sparacino is survived by two daughters, April Powers of Deltona, Fla. and Audra Sparacino of Ocala, Fla., two brothers, Luis Sparacino of Deltona, Fla. and Steven Sparacino of Ormond Beach, Fla., one sister, Marguerite Sparacino of Illinois and three grandchildren.
Mr. Sparacino was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Sparacino and Melvin Sparacino.
