Ms. Teresa Lynn Rose, age 40, a resident of 3848 Gilead Shores Road, Blounts Creek, died Monday afternoon, July 20, 2009 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday July 23, 2009 at the Pantego Christian Church officiated by Jim Bussell. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.
William Lowe, Steve Midgette, Benny Rose, Lloyd Sawyer, Jr., Trent Midgette and Jonathan Sawyer will serve as pallbearers.
Ms. Rose was born in Belhaven on June 26, 1969, daughter of William L. “Bill” Rose and Doris Sawyer Rose. She was employed with Flanders Filters in Washington as the accounting manager. She was a former law enforcement officer in Aurora, EMT and volunteer fireman. Teresa enjoyed fishing and hunting.
In addition to her parents: “Bill” and Doris Rose of Pantego; she is survived by her brother: Howard Rose of Pantego; her sister: Gloria R. Williams and husband, Lee of Scranton: her niece: Trisha Williams of Blounts Creek; her nephew: Lloyd Williams, III of Scranton; her great nephew: Quinton Vick of Blounts Creek and her fiancé: Dale Rutledge of Blounts Creek.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven and other times at the home of her parents located at 25481 US Hwy. 264 East, Pantego.
