Mrs. Miriam Virginia Allen Bradley, age 88, a resident of Autumfield of Belhaven and a former resident of 387 Riverview Street, Belhaven went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday August 4, 2009.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Friday August 7, 2009 at Trinity United Methodist Church of Belhaven officiated by Rev. Sam Grist. Burial will follow in the Belhaven Community Cemetery.
Mrs. Bradley was born in the Pungo community of Pantego on May 8, 1921 daughter of the late Fenner Rufus Allen and the late Christine Allen Swindell. She married Silas Lee Bradley on November 1, 1945 who preceded her in death on March 10, 1999. Mrs. Bradley was a charter member of the Belhaven Lioness Club and a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Belhaven.
Mrs. Bradley is survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins and many special friends. She was preceded in death by a brother: John Allen and a sister: Carolyn Etheridge.
A visitation will be held Friday from 2 p.m. till the funeral hour at the church.
