Mrs. Shirley Collins Merrick, 63, of 1114 Farrow Road, Engelhard, died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at home. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Davis Youth Center. Arrangements are by Blair Funeral Service of Edenton.
