Mrs. Beria Patrick Wright, 79, of 4030 N.C. Hwy. 32 N, Plymouth died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009 at Washington County Hospital.
A funeral will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Harry Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Church of Christ cemetery.
Mrs. Wright was born in Washington County on Aug. 15, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Willie Patrick and Lucy Wynn Patrick. She was pastor of Macedonia Church of Christ Holy Disciples. Her husband, Monroe Wright, preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons: Roy Wright, Poughkeepsie, NY, Joseph Wright, Plymouth, Woodrow Wright, Philadelphia; seven daughters: Sadie Jones, Alexandria, Rose Moore, Philadelphia, Mary Pickett, Elizabeth City, Theresa Wright, Philadelphia, Margo Jernigan, Plymouth, Patricia Conquest, Philadelphia, Elsie Fleming, Georgia; brother: Matthew Patrick, Brooklyn, NY; two sisters: Alverta Patrick, Bronx, Blanche Odom, Pritchett, AL and twenty-three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at Toodle’s Funeral Home and other times at the home.
