Ada L. McNair, 97, of 4015 Mackeys Road, Roper, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009 at Chowan Hospital, Edenton. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today at Second Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth, with the Rev. Hubert Judon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
