CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Hilda S. Vought, 91, formerly of Chesapeake, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Born in Washington, N.C., she was the daughter of the late John T. and Robert Ann Swanner. She was the widow of Ray W. Vought. She was a member of Great Bridge Baptist Church, Fleet Reserve Ladies Auxiliary and the Women’s Christian Club.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 10, 2009 in Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Great Bridge Chapel of Oman Funeral Home &Crematory, 653 Cedar Road, Chesapeake.
