Mr. Rodney Swain Bateman Jr., 79, of Manassas, Va., died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009 at his residence.
A graveside service will be held today at 11 a.m., at Azalea Memorial Gardens in Columbia with the Rev. Frank Alexander officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
