Mrs. Lynette Haislip Bowers, 75, of 3882 Whitehurst St., Bethel, died Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Bethel Baptist Church with the Revs. Heath Faircloth and June Ellen Haislip officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the fellowship hall of Bethel Baptist Church and other times at the home. Arrangements are by Walker’s-Ayers Chapel of Bethel.
