ROCKY MOUNT, NC — Diana Jo Donoho Kotrba, 70, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009. She was born September 14, 1939 in Cape Girardeau, MO. Diana attended Southeast Missouri State University and retired as an administrative assistant for Rocky Mount High School. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rocky Mount. Diana was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Kay Kotrba Newbold and her father, John L. Donoho.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Edwin Kotrba of the home; mother, Talmadge L. Neimeyer Donoho; daughter, Tonya-kay Kotrba Speer and husband, Sean of White Plains, MD; sisters, Suzanne Kay Donoho Reese and husband, Tim of Kimberling City, MO; Terri Lynn Donoho Learue and husband, Larry of Sikeston, MO; Laura Beth Donoho of Sikeston, MO; brother, John Donoho of France; son-in-law, Dal Newbold of Washington, NC; sister-in-law, Janis Ann Kotrba Norby and husband, Dave of Fenton, MO. She is also survived by and loved by her many grandchildren, great grandson and several loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Diana’s life will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rocky Mount, NC. A private interment will be held in Washington, NC.
The family would like to thank the teachers, counselors and staff of Rocky Mount High School, the congregation and pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Afterschool Partnership for Children and the staff of Braswell Elementary for their love and support shown during Diana’s illness.
