ROBERSONVILLE — Mrs. Michele Bowen Leggett, 34, died Thursday, October 01, 2009.
The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Christian Chapel Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Leggett, a native of Martin County, was a graduate of Bear Grass High School. She received her associate degree in Radiology Technology from Edgecombe Community College, and held advance certifications in MRI and CT Scanning. For the past eleven years she was employed with Martin General Hospital. She was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ. Mrs. Leggett enjoyed vacations with her daughter, putting together scrap books, traveling and attending country music concerts.
She was preceded in death by her father Danny L. Bowen, grandparents, Marshall D. and Susie Ausborn Wilson, Grover and Lillie Chesson Bowen.
She is survived by her: husband, Mickey Carl Leggett; daughter, Kennedy Lane Leggett, of the home; mother, Elaine Wilson Bowen, of Robersonville; sister, Suzanne B. Weaver and husband, Nicholas, of Williamston; and nephew, Cole Nolan Weaver.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Greenville.
