Seahawks stun VIkings|Ruffin catches game-winning pass

Willie Ruffin hauled in a 14-yard pass from Terrill Moore with 11 seconds to play, as the Southside Seahawks shocked the Vikings in Plymouth on Friday night, 44-42.
The touchdown, Ruffins second of the night and Moores third, helped erase a 30-8 halftime deficit. The win was Southsides biggest in three years.
Lonnie Williams did his part on the ground, scoring three times for the Seahawks.
Derick Cannon also scored twice for Southside.
Coach David Hines and his Seahawks improved to 4-3 overall and 2-1 in Four Rivers Conference play.
The Vikings (5-2, 2-1) had won their previous five games.
Southside plays at Perquimans next Friday night, while Plymouth plays host to Williamston.
CAMDEN 47, NORTHSIDE 28
The Northside Panthers put up some points, but the defense couldnt stop the Bruins as Camden won its first of the game, 47-28, in Fridays Four Rivers Conference game.
Camden (1-6, 1-2) got on a roll early offensively and the Panthers (2-5, 0-3) couldnt do much to stop the Bruins.
The Panthers play host to Manteo next week.
MANTEO 42, ROANOKE 20
In a battle of first place against last place, the Manteo Redskins picked up a 42-20 win over the Roanoke Redskins in Fridays Four Rivers Conference game
Manteo (7-0, 3-0) remained unbeaten on the year with the win.
Roanoke (0-7, 0-3) is still looking for its first win.
Roanoke plays host to Camden next Friday night.
CRESWELL 52, MATTAMUSKEET 0
The Creswell Tigers, the class of the Tideland Conference this season, stayed unbeaten with a 52-0 drubbing of Mattamuskeet on Friday night.
Creswell (6-0, 4-0) has outscored its last four opponents 199-14.
The Lakers (1-3, 1-3) have dropped their last three.
Creswell, off next week, returns to action Oct. 23 at Cape Hatteras. Mattamuskeet plays host to Cape Hatteras next week.
