Jeanette Dunlow Murray 69, of 610 West Main Street, Williamston, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009, at Pitt Memorial Hospital. She was born in Bertie County on March 23, 1940, to the late Alphus and Jennie Rose Dunlow. Jeanette was a member of Macedonia Christian Church and the MGH Senior Circle. She was a retired sales clerk with both Belk Tyler and Corey’s.
The Rev. Greg Sexton and Rev. Eric Woolard will hold funeral services on Friday, October 30, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Macedonia Christian Church. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery in Windsor.
Survivors include her husband, Richard “Rick” W. Murray of the home; daughters, Annette Murray and Judy Murray Rose of Williamston and Robin M. Harrison and husband, Ricky, of Bear Grass; son, Rick Murray, Jr. and wife, Kim Alligood Murray, of Washington; sisters, Lucy D. Ausley of Va. Beach, Va., and Dorothy D. Taylor and husband, Robert, of Merry Hill; brothers, Robert Dunlow and wife, Delores, of Windsor, Johnny Dunlow and wife, Peggy, of Williamston and Pete Dunlow and wife, Deborah, of Suffolk, Va.; grandchildren, Bryce and Conner Harrison of Bear Grass and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday October 29, 2009, at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, and at other times from the home.
