Mr. James Darrell Wynne, 79, of 107 Leigh Drive, Washington died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at UHS Inpatient Hospice in Greenville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Wynne was born in Martin County on April 4, 1930. He was the son of the late Willie M. and Lula Rawls Wynne. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was the retired owner of Wynne Auto Supply in Plymouth and Washington. He was formerly married to Sarah Leggett Wynne of Williamston, mother of Jamie and Mike.
Survivors include a daughter, Jamie Woolard of Greenville; a son, Mike Wynne of Williamston; a sister, Madgalene Smith of Norfolk, Va.; grandchildren, Heather Wynne, Hillary Wynne, R.J. Green, Jaclyn Cullipher, Samantha Lee and Dylan Woolard.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston.
