Mrs. Carolyn Byrum Bond, 71, of Pecan Street in Windsor, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas Episcopal Church with the Rev. Joseph Cooper officiating. The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Linda Smithwick, 703 Winwood Drive, Windsor. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home of Windsor.
