Mr. Wade Hampton Hufton, 78, a resident of Roper. died Friday, January 1, 2010 at his residence. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Scuppernong Church of Christ, Creswell, with Cleve Edwards and Eddie Coltrain officiating. Burial will follow in the church’s cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church’s fellowship hall after the funeral. Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
