Mr. Ronald Glenn Ronnie Midyette, age 50, a resident of 233 Jack Street, Washington, died Monday, January 4, 2010 at his home.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 9, 2010 in Pamlico Memorial Gardens with Pastor Phillip Jethro officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the service hour at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington, NC.
Mr. Midyette was born in Beaufort County on January 27, 1959. Ronnie was a finishing carpenter and lived most of his life in Washington except for ten years that he worked in the Raleigh area.
Mr. Midyette is survived by his father and stepmother, Glenn and Yvonne Midyette of Washington; his mother, Jennette Lewis Driver of Amelia, VA; five sisters, Jeananne Driver of Amelia, VA, Cindy Wallace of Pinetown, Debbie Woolard, Kathy Melton and Dee Hollis all of Washington; one brother, William Billy Midyette of Washington; one daughter, Katie Kogel of Greenville, NC; one son, Josh Midyette Brinkley of Wilmington, NC; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Driver; paternal grandparents, William Edward and Almyra Smith Midyette; and maternal grandparents, Major and Ella Mae Lewis.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alligood Church of God Building Fund, 428 Terrapin Track Road, Washington, NC 27889.
