Mr. George M. Simmons, 70, of 100 White Oak Loop Road, Plymouth died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010 at home. A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Lily of the Valley Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth with the Rev. Jasper Arnold officiating. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, Roper. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
