Mr. Aaron Tuell Waters, age 66, a resident of 4275 NC Hwy 92 East, Bath, NC went home to be with his Lord on Sunday January 17, 2010 at his home.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday January 20, 2010 at Alligood Church of God officiated by Pastor Phillip Jethro. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Larry Jefferson, George Linton, Asa Everett, Mike Swanner, Roger Bell, Mike Bell and Rob Williams will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Woolard and Rudy Waters.
Mr. Waters was born in Beaufort County on May 16, 1943 son of the late Jesse Alfred Waters and the late Mattie Smith Waters Jackson. He was a 1961 graduate of Bath High School and married the former Yvonne Woolard on June 20 1969 who survives. Mr. Waters was a member of Alligood Church of God.
Surviving along with his wife Yvonne of the home are three sons: Gregory Tuell Waters and his wife Donna of Clayton, Aaron Glen Waters and his wife Kim of Newport, NC and Timothy Wayne Waters and his wife Amber of Bath; a brother: Jesse Burl Waters of Autryville, NC and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday January 19, 2010 at Alligood Church of God and at other times at the home.
