Mr. Lindsey Alexander “Alex” Correll, 20, of 522 Northwood Road, Washington, NC died January 29, 2010.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at First United Methodist Church, Washington NC conducted by the Reverend Danny Allen and Assistant Pastor Susan Harrison. Interment will take place 3 p.m. Tuesday at Rocky Mount Memorial Park, in Rocky Mount, NC.
Alex was born in Pitt County on January 11, 1990. He is survived by his parents Alan Davis Correll and Sherry Lindsey Correll and one brother Seth Davis Correll of the home. Maternal grandmother is Mrs. Hubert Lee Lindsey of Rocky Mount, NC and his special aunt, Brenda G. Lindsey of Rocky Mount, NC. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William H. Correll of Raleigh NC.
Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Mr. Hubert Lee Lindsey in 2007.
Alex was a member of First United Methodist Church of Washington.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Tuesday in the church parlor of the church and other times at the home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the Beaufort County Mental Health Association, PO Box 663, in care of Mr. John Morgan or to the First United Methodist Church, 304 W. Second Street, Washington, NC 27889.
