Mrs. Hattie Rivers Alligood Woolard, 81, of Fayetteville,
died Thursday, March 04, 2010, at her residence.
Mrs. Woolard was a retired teachers’ assistant with
the Cumberland County Schools after 26 years, all
of which were spent at Margaret Willis Elementary
School. She was a faithful member of Village Baptist
Church and was a member of the Golden Rule Sunday
School class. She was also a member of the Pilot Club
of Fayetteville.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 7,
2010, at 3 p.m. in Village Baptist Church with Dr. Bruce
Martin officiating. The family will receive friends for
one hour prior to service, from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Fireside
Room at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Arvie D. Woolard
of the home; brother, Lane Alligood and wife Tippie,
of Washington, NC; sisters, Elsie Drummond and husband
Francis, of Emporia, VA, Olive Deans of Washington,
NC, and Evelyn Alligood and husband, Clarence, of
Washington, NC.
