Mrs. Emma Louise Spruill Phelps, 81, a resident of Guardian Care Nursing Home in Ahoskie and formerly of Washington County, died Saturday, March 13, 2010. A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Grace Baptist Church with the Revs. Lee Price and Paul Ange officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
