Mr. William “Benny” Benjamin Wilson, age 72, a resident of 2409 Slay Drive, Greenville passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, March 18, 2010.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens and will be conducted by Rev. Tom Newman.
Mr. Wilson was born in Pitt County on July 5, 1937 to the late W. Ben and Betty Wilson. He was a builder with Ashland Construction Company where he retired from in 1999.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Alligood Wilson of the home, two daughters, Pam Wilson and Terry Wilson; one son, Mike Wilson all of Greenville; two grandchildren, Michael Paul Wilson and Michelle Wilson; one sister, Betty Sue Eubanks of Jacksonville, three aunts, Annie Laura Garris, Eva Forrest and Janice Smith. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one son, Kirby Allen Wilson.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Saturday March 20, 2010 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home.
