People across Eastern Carolina and all of us at WITN are mourning the loss of Ashley Stephenson.
Ashley was a member of the WITN family for more than five years.
He shared his talents at WITN in many different ways. Ashley first worked in production. He started in audio, learned master control and became a great director.
Ashley later worked in promotions, and most recently, in sales.
Ashley was an outstanding individual. He was creative, fun and genuinely loved people.
Ashley was happily married, and he was a fantastic father to an amazing little boy. He loved Washington and Beaufort County and was active in his church and politics.
Ashley was just 46 when he died Monday morning. He will be greatly missed, and we will forever remember his laughter and his love.
