Thomas E. Bohrer, 82, of Paw Paw, WV died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at his home.
He was born October 14, 1927 at Paw Paw and was the son of the late Thomas Benjamin Bohrer and Hazel Raigner Bohrer.
He was a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had worked at Pittsburgh Plate &Glass and was a carpenter. Tom was a member of the Paw Paw Church of Christ and a life member of the Harley Bohrer American Legion Post in Paw Paw.
On April 21, 1954, he married Luella Fair Bohrer, who preceded him in death on January 30, 1996. He is survived by his second wife, Doris Chambers Bohrer, whom he married on October 25, 1997.
Also surviving are -One daughter -Cynthia Lee of Mt. Airy, MD; Three sons -Thomas L. Bohrer of Bath, NC, David A. Bohrer of Barrington, RI, Philip A. Bohrer of New Market, MD; Two sisters-Thelma Tuning of Paw Paw, WV, Joan Crabtree of Oldtown, MD; Ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Bohrer and one sister, Drucilla Gilliam.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the Paw Paw Church of Christ with Pastor Richard White officiating.
Burial will be at Woodrow Cemetery at Paw Paw with military graveside services accorded.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw.
