Mrs. Eula Lewis Cayton Paul, age 98, a resident of 10146 Hwy 306 South, Aurora, NC died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Beaufort County Medical Center.
A graveside funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday September 10, 2010 at White Hill Cemetery officiated by Rev. Wesley Taylor.
Mrs. Paul was born on April 4, 1912 to the late Lawrence Lewis and Lena Rhem Lewis. Mrs. Paul was preceded in death by two husbands: Joseph B. Cayton and David Paul. She was a homemaker who loved her garden and flowers.
Mrs. Paul is survived by a daughter: Christine Cayton Hollowell of Aurora, NC, a sister: Hazel Zipperer of Valdosta, GA, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Mrs. Paul is preceded in death by two sons: Joseph Cayton and Leslie Cayton, three brothers and five sisters.
The family will receive friends Thursday September 9, 2010 from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home of her daughter, Christine C. Hollowell, 2119 Tunstall Swamp Road, Aurora, NC 27806.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Aurora Rescue Squad, Post Office Box 277, Aurora, NC 27806.
