Mrs. Joyce Honara Goddard, 85, of 5013 W. Main St. Ext., Williamston, died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Martin General Hospital in Williamston. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Smithwick Chapel Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Williamston, with Elder William T. Collins Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Puckett-Purkett Memorial Chapel, Roper, and from 12:50 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service of Roper.
