A curfew is in effect for the City of Washington until 6:00 a.m. Oct. 1, Friday morning.
IMPORTANT: There will be a two hour delay in the opening of the government offices for the City of Washington and Beaufort County.
As of 10:00 p.m. Thursday evening there were 37 people, primarily from Washington, at the Emergency Shelter at P.S. Jones Middle School.
