Ruth Holadia Woodley, 84, of Columbia, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Scuppernong Church of Christ, Creswell, with Cleve Edwards, Don Craft and Don Phelps officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell, which is in charge of arrangements, and other times at the home.
