Mrs. Nora Edwards Hodges, 83, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2011. A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at 3 p.m. in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hodges was a native of Beaufort County near Aurora. She retired from the Pitt County School System after working in the cafeteria department and was a member of Grace Church.
Mrs. Hodges was preceded in death by a son, Gary S. Hodges who died in Vietnam in 1968; sister, Stella Bennett and a brother, William Edwards.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jesse T. Hodges; sons, Randy Hodges and wife, Donna, and Ronald Hodges and wife, Pam, both of Winterville; grandchildren, Becky Hodges, Ashley Hodges, Ryan Hodges, Jacob Hodges, and Angela Lamm; great-grandchildren, Jesse Morgan and Charlise Moore.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 pm at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
