Mr. Robert Marshall Jones, 48, a resident of 30 Duckview Trail died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Duke University Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, at Paul Funeral Home of Washington officiated by Dennis Davis.
Mr. Jones was born in Craven County on April 24, 1962, to the late Zeffie Earl Jones, Sr. and Caroline Bull Boyd. Robert graduated from Washington High School. On Feb. 14, 1988, he married Cheryl Lynn Jones who survives. Mr. Jones was a mechanic with Crisp RV Center and a member of Everett Church of Christ.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Jones is survived by two brothers: Zeffie Earl Jones, Jr. and his wife Emily of Pinetown, Christopher Lee Jones and his wife Brenda of Chocowinity; one sister: Vannessa B. Wilkerson and her husband Sam of Pinetown; his step father: Theron Boyd; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, immediately following the funeral service at Paul Funeral Home of Washington.
